Goodbye to me

I was going to make some long beautiful speech (ok, maybe just long), but I changed my mind. I would like to thank all of you for letting me share with you for the last month or so. You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

Miss Kadi can still be seen at the following: http://www.theuncorkedshow.com/, http://www.wombattheinnsane.com/, & http://www.supernanny.com/.

I'm going to leave you with a song. I had another one pop into my head, but Scandal didn't exactly fit here.

Thank you again. Big hugs to you all!

Day 3: List of Infractions By the Dogs...So Far

  • Peed on carpet several times

  • Pooped on carpet several times

  • Pooped/peed on the tile (not as bad as the carpet)

  • Peed on the couch

  • Drape/rod ripped down

  • Shit on same drape (twice now as they are now in the garage w/said drape)

  • Poop on carpet/tile in my daughter's bathroom

  • Peed on my husband

  • Peed on sliding glass door

  • Trying to dig a hole to China in my living room carpet

  • (Here's the latest & greatest) One of the dogs tried to either chew or dig a hole through my kitchen to the outside world

  • (Just this second) peed on my hubby's hockey equipment in the garage

We have until Sunday with these dogs. It'll be a miracle if they survive that long. I have apologized several times to my husband & will probably do it several more before Sunday.

Moms Gone Wild-Girls Day Out

Yesterday was Kadi's & my Mom's Gone Wild Day (Girls Day). It was our much needed day away from the families.

My day started out waking up at 5 friggin 30 to two whiney wienerdogs. We're puppysitting for my mom's dogs. (I love you mom, but we just can't do it again.) These dogs have peed & pooped INSIDE our house in several places & one has pulled a window treatment halfway off from our sliding door.

The fun began about 8:45 when Kadi & I got on the road. We dropped off her daughter at her sister in-law's house & got Starbucks, then holy hell we were late! For anyone who know's Kadi, you know this is not a rare occurance. We got to LA & we were late (barely) & then got lost trying to find the stinkin building ( L.A. is confusing) for Mitzi & Co, the company in which Kadi was having pinup pics taken. We didn't have the number for her(that's just us. If we'd have had a number, it would have been just too easy!), so I had to call my friend Chris to look up her number for us (Thank you Crease!). Anyway, we made it!!

Mitzi & Co is amazing! Liz, who did Kadi's hair & makeup, did an absolutely wonderful job on Kadi. She looked beautiful! Ok, when Kadi's eyes were the only thing done, she kinda looked like a transvestite (I think anyone would because of the dark makeup alone), but when she was all put together, she really did look great

Liz & Kadi

Little preview. Nice, huh?

Mitzi, herself was also great. She was patient with us for being late. She had a ton of outfits for Kadi to search through & helped get her into one (after Kadi & I put it on upside down). Mitzi picked out a lot of great poses for Kadi (& Kadi pulled them all off. She practiced, doncha know). You all are going to love Kadi's pics when you see them!

If anyone wants to get some pinup pictures done, please check out Mitzi's website.

After that, we travelled to West Covina to get some grub. Mmmmm...I love me some Northwoods Inn!

Our final destination of the day was Mainstreet Tattoo (I blame Barbie) in Hesperia. Now these are some fun guys! Possibly another outing to see them. Details on that later!
Then I went home to my poor hubby & child (well, not poor M, she was sleeping). My poor hubby had to deal with a cranky 5 year old & 2 pain-in-the-ass (sorry mom) dogs all day.

I had such a great time today! We really must do this again soon...Oh wait, we are! Passion Party in 2 weeks! Woohoo!!!!!

Totally Stylin' Tattoos Barbie

I heard on the radio today & just saw an article (Yahoo) about the controversy on Totally Stylin' Tattoos Barbie. I say this is complete & utter bullshit! Temporary tattoos have been around forever. Many of you will remember having gotten them in in a box of Cracker Jacks (that is dating us, I know). I don't think we all went out & got ink because we had the temporaries (hey, I only have 5, but I never got any because of them!).

Another thing they're saying is that it's because Barbie shows her body, making kids show theirs blah, blah, blah. How many of you with kids have a bunch of nekkid dolls floating around the house? That is almost the first thing my daughter does, she strips her dolls!

I may not like Barbie, but I'm all for this one. Sorry for the mini-rant.
